Q: Is the artwork still available?
A: Yes. Every piece shown in the “Available Works” gallery on my website is currently for sale. If a piece sells, it is promptly moved to the “Archive” or “Sold” section.
Q: Can I see more images or a video of a specific piece?
A: Absolutely. For most works, you can view additional detail shots on the artwork’s dedicated page. If you’d like a specific angle, a video under different lighting, or a scale shot (e.g., the painting in a room setting), please request it through the contact form, mentioning the artwork’s title.
Q: What are the exact dimensions and medium?
A: The dimensions, medium (e.g., acrylic, oil, mixed media on canvas), are listed on each artwork’s page. Please note that dimensions are of the artwork itself; framed dimensions (if applicable) are listed separately.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I offer interest-free payment plans for original works over through a secure third-party service like [Paypal, Klarna, or a custom installment plan]. A typical plan spans 3-6 months, where the artwork ships after the final payment. Please contact me to set this up.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: I accept all major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and direct bank transfers (for which I will provide an invoice). All transactions are processed securely.
Q: Are taxes and shipping included in the price?
A: Taxes are included in the price of the piece, shipping is added separately. Shipping, handling, insurance, and any applicable sales tax or import duties (for international buyers) are calculated separately and added at checkout or detailed in a custom invoice.
Q: How and where do you ship?
A: I ship worldwide from my studio in London, United Kingdom. All pieces are packaged with the utmost care—stretched canvases are boxed with corner protectors and glassine paper; works on paper are shipped flat in archival sleeves or in a tube if not mounted or framed. I use reputable carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL, or specialized art couriers) and provide full tracking.
Q: How much does shipping cost, and how long will it take?
A: Shipping costs depend on the artwork’s size, weight, destination, and insurance value. You can request a shipping quote via the contact form or it will be calculated at checkout. Domestic deliveries typically take 3-10 business days; international shipments 7-21 business days, plus any customs processing.
Q: Do you offer local pickup or studio collection?
A: Yes, I love to meet the people who have purchased my pieces and I do offer pickup from my studio in London. Please select “Local Pickup” at checkout. We will then arrange a scheduled time for collection from my studio. Full payment is required before pickup.
Q: How will my artwork arrive, and is it ready to hang?
A: Your artwork will arrive securely packaged. All stretched canvases and wooden panels framed and wired on the back and are ready to hang immediately. Works on paper delivered in a tube may require framing. A certificate of authenticity is included with every original piece.
Q: How should I care for my artwork?
A: To ensure longevity, please:
Hang it out of direct, harsh sunlight to prevent fading.
Dust gently with a clean, dry, soft cloth. Do not use cleaning products.
Q: What if my artwork arrives damaged?
A: While rare, I take full responsibility for artwork until it is safely in your hands. Please inspect the packaging and artwork immediately upon delivery. If the artwork arrives damaged or is significantly different from its description, please contact me within 7 days of receipt to initiate a return for a full refund or exchange. The artwork must be returned in its original, undamaged packaging at my expense.
Q: Do you offer a certificate of authenticity?
A: Yes. Every original artwork is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity, which includes details of the work, and serves as a lifetime record of its provenance.”
Commissions:
What size commissions do you accept?
I typically accept commissions starting at 20 inches on the shortest side. Larger, statement pieces are most common. Please inquire for specific dimensions.
Q.How long does a commission take?
From initial contact to delivery, please allow a minimum of 8-12 weeks, depending on scale, complexity, and current studio schedule. Drying/curing times for my layered, resin-integrated works are essential and cannot be rushed.
Q.What is the price range?
Commissions are priced based on size, material complexity, and framing requirements. As a guide, commissioned works generally start at £1,500. A precise quote will be provided in the proposal stage.
Q.Do you work from photographs?
Yes, but as a point of departure, not replication. I am particularly drawn to translating landscapes, architectural details, or close-up textures into abstracted emotional fields.
Q.Can you match my interior colours exactly?
While I can work within a specific colour palette, my process relies on organic reactions between materials. I will honour the mood and harmony of your palette, but the final work will exhibit the beautiful unpredictability inherent to my technique.
Limited Edition Prints
Introduction:
Limited edition prints allow you to own a piece of my work in a more accessible format. Each print is produced to the highest archival standards, signed, and numbered. Below are answers to common questions.
Q: What is a “limited edition” print?
A: A limited edition is a set of identical prints made from an original artwork, produced in a single, finite print run. Once the edition sells out, no more will ever be made. This ensures the print’s exclusivity and collectibility. Each print in the edition is individually numbered (e.g., 15/100) and hand-signed by me.
Q: How many prints are in the edition?
A: The total edition size for each image is clearly stated on the product page (e.g., “Edition of 10”).
Q: Will you ever reprint or extend the edition?
A: No. Once an edition is sold out, that image will never be reprinted in the same size, medium, or format. I stand by the integrity of the limited edition promise, which protects the value of your print.
Q: What is a giclée print?
A: “Giclée” is a fine art printing process using archival pigment inks on premium substrates (like cotton rag paper). It is the industry standard for producing museum-quality prints with exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity.
Q: What paper do you use?
A: I use only 100% cotton rag, acid-free, museum-grade papers. The specific paper (e.g., Hahnemühle Photo Rag) is listed on each print’s page. These papers are chosen for their texture, weight, and ability to ensure the print lasts for generations.
Q: Are the prints hand-signed and numbered?
A: Yes. Every limited edition print is hand-signed in and numbered by me on the front, usually in the lower margin.
Q: How long will the print last without fading?
A: When displayed under recommended conditions (out of direct sunlight, away from high humidity), archival giclée prints have a lightfastness rating that typically exceeds 100+ years. They are produced to the highest conservation standards.
Q: Does the print come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: Yes, a certificate of authenticity is included which each print showing the total number of prints in the print run, the type of paper, dimensions of print, date of issue and piece image and title.
Q: How are prints packaged for shipping?
A: Smaller prints are shipped flat including a mount board and back board ready for framing. Larger prints are shipped rolled in a tube.
Q: Do you offer framing?
A: Currently, I sell prints unframed. This allows you to select a frame that perfectly matches your space and avoids the high cost and risk of shipping glass. I may offer framed options in the future.
Q: Can I order a custom size or on a different material (e.g., canvas, metal)?
A: No. To maintain the integrity and value of the limited edition, prints are only available in the pre-determined size(s), on the specified paper, as announced for that edition.
Q: What is your shipping timeline for prints?
A: Most limited edition prints are made to order. Please allow 5-7 business days for careful printing, signing, numbering, and packaging before shipping. You will receive a tracking notification once your order is on its way.
Q: What if my print arrives damaged?
A: All prints are fully insured in transit. Please inspect the packaging and print immediately upon delivery. If there is any damage, photograph both the packaging and the print and contact me within 48 hours to initiate a claim. I will arrange for a replacement (if still available) or a full refund.
